A place to grow

At Imperial College Healthcare, we know what a privilege it is to support people on their journey to becoming parents. We also know it’s important to give our staff the opportunity to grow.

We’re looking for ambitious band 5 and 6 midwives to join our teams at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea and St Mary’s Hospitals.

Whether in our private consultant-led unit at the prestigious Lindo Wing, at our welcoming maternity units or out in the community, here at Imperial College Healthcare you’ll face new challenges every day. It’s this diversity that makes our hospitals the perfect place to develop your career.

Bring your career to life

We believe that good midwives are always learning. That’s why we offer a clear pathway for all our staff to progress at a pace that suits them.

When you join our team, you’ll access all the support you need to professionally develop — through training and mentorship or with financial support to learn outside your current role.

We’re a close-knit team, too, so you’ll find friendly, understanding colleagues who’ll help you achieve all your goals.

The Role

We’re looking for caring, ambitious midwives committed to delivering the best in patient care.

You’ll work with people at all stages of pregnancy and childbirth to educate, support and care for them at this important time.

You’ll also provide a full range of health and social care advice, empowering our parents to have a positive birth experience.

The Benefits

You’ll get outstanding learning and development opportunities, access to courses and up to £1000 in funding to further your training.

You’ll be working with leading clinicians in patient care at prestigious hospitals like the world-famous Lindo Wing, and be at the cutting edge of research and innovation.

You’ll also enjoy at least 27 days' holiday each year, flexible working, a staff recognition programme and membership options for onsite leisure facilities.
